The Y is committed to our cause of strengthening community every day through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. Our commitment to social responsibility means we look for opportunities to give back and provide support to our neighbors. We know that when we work together, we can do a lot more to move our communities forward to make the greatest possible impact.
This season, we are excited to partner with Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank to collect food, clothing and essential items during our Holiday season for those in need. There will be two opportunities to give:
HOLIDAY FOOD DRIVE: November 1-22
There is a need for non-perishable food items such as canned goods, oatmeal, snacks and pasta. Please consider purchasing or donating items on the following SHOPPING LIST and drop them off at the Sammamish Community YMCA Front Desk.
CLOTHING & ESSENTIALS DRIVE: December 1-22
There is a need for clothing and shoes for all ages, as well as essential items such as laundry soap, toothbrushes, sleeping bags and razors. Diapers sizes 4-6 are in the highest need. Please consider purchasing or donating items on the following SHOPPING LIST and drop them off at the Sammamish Community YMCA Front Desk.
