Kai Schwartz

Director of Leadership Development

Kai Graduated from Colorado College in 2008 and received her Masters of Social Work from University of North Carolina in 2014. Kai has worked with youth in both urban and wilderness settings for the past 10 years. Kai is passionate about supporting student voice and decision making. Kai enjoys running, mountain biking or anything that gets her outdoors with her rad little dog.

David Dunphy

Teen and Outdoor Program Coordinator

David Graduated from Gonzaga University in 2012 where he studied Environmental Studies and Business Administration with a focus on Leadership. After graduating he spent 5 years working with National Outdoor Leadership School and REI. David grew up in Issaquah and went to Skyline High School. He enjoys skiing, climbing and volunteering with the Issaquah Alps Trail Club and King County Search and Rescue.

Dana Washington

Mentoring Program Supervisor

Dana Graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2016 with a degree in Sociology. She runs the after-school enrichment site for K-8th graders and supports our mentor program. Dana is drawn to this work because she is passionate about the social and cultural development of youth. When not helping students, Dana is an exceptional baker. She recently made a plaid cake! She also enjoys spending time with her extended family.

Allora Tvedt

Child and Family Therapist

Allora Graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2013 and received her Masters in Counseling Psychology from The Seattle School in 2017. Allora focuses on mental health and wellness here at the YMCA. She is passionate about reducing mental health stigma & mental health self-education and exploration with teens. In her personal time Allora enjoys to cook! She makes an amazing homemade mac & cheese.
