Some of the teen volunteers at the Sammamish YMCA have identified a passion for helping their peers stay active! These teens have collaborated with the Y’s personal training staff to develop a workout circuit just for teens. We would like to invite all local high school students to join us at the Y for a teen-led circuit workout each Friday from 3:15 to 3:45 p.m., beginning tomorrow, Friday, March 9.
The workout circuit, designed by Caleb Buck, personal trainer at the Sammamish Y, was created for people of all abilities and experience levels. Free weights and bodyweight will be used to complete the high-energy circuit.
Here are the deets:
Date of first kick-off workout: Friday, March 9th (but feel free to join us on any Friday after that if you can’t make the 9th!)
Frequency: Every Friday from March 9th to March 30th
Time: 3:15 – 3:45 p.m.
Ages: 13 to 17 years old (photo id required)
Fees/Membership: FREE to all teens and no YMCA membership is required. Non-Y members DO need to fill out a liability waiver before attending (liability waiver must be signed by a guardian 18+ years old). This can be done at the Sammamish Y membership desk.
How to attend: No official registration is required. If you mention this to your class, we would love to hear if anyone was interested and a rough estimate. Thanks!
