Hello and welcome to the Sammamish Community YMCA’s 2018 Annual Fund Campaign! During the next six weeks we will share some inspirational stories as we work towards our goal of raising $165,000.

At the Y, we believe that lasting personal and social change can only come about when we all work together to invest in our kids, our health and our neighbors. With your support and generosity, we can continue to address these and other pressing issues and expand our work to reach more people.

Dollars raised during our 2018 Annual Fund Campaign go straight to maintaining and growing the following programs at the Sammamish Community YMCA, among others:

Afterschool and Summer Scholarships: $22,000 gives a safe place for all children to learn, grow, and thrive through our afterschool and summer programs, regardless of a family’s ability to pay.

Highland Garden Afterschool Program: $40,000 gives local teenagers opportunities to give back and become mentors to elementary aged youth helping to deliver a free afterschool enrichment program.

Teen Leadership Programs: $42,500 provides free leadership programs including Teen Leadership Board, Earth Service Corp, and group service projects to develop civic-minded young leaders.

Water Safety: $10,000 builds confidence and water safety skills for youth and teens to prevent drownings, the second-leading cause of preventable death in children ages 5-14.

Chronic Disease Prevention Programs: $15,500 provides nutrition classes, active play, and support programs for children, families, and adults at risk of chronic diseases like diabetes and obesity in a supportive, welcoming environment.

Youth and Family Mental Health Services: $35,000 provides behavioral health services for youth and families in need of support in a relaxed, familiar setting at the Y.

Click here to donate today. Thanks to your support we can continue on with these programs and help them to grow and expand beyond our wildest dreams.

Mark your calendars!
We also cordially invite you to attend our Annual Fund Breakfast on Monday, March 26 from 7 – 8:30 a.m. Keynote speaker Justin W.
