Pack a picnic, head to the park, have lunch and spend the rest of the afternoon on the swing set!

Pick one of the 3 focus areas (youth development, healthy living, social responsibility) and explain why it is important to you.

Social Responsibility is very important to me because I truly believe that we have a responsibility to one another. It is our responsibility to help one another learn, grow, and prosper. The Y plays in big role in this by providing its members and others in the community with opportunities that allow for physical and mental growth.

Why do you work for the Y?

I work for the Y because I have a passion for serving others and working here allows me to do just that! My personal mission each day is to touch and impact the lives of those around me. I do this by simply listening to others, being there to help them, and to expose them to opportunities that too can allow them to be of service to others.
