booksAfter School Mentoring  VolunteerTeen Volunteer Corps
Join a dedicated group of teens and give back to others by providing after school enrichment programming. In the afternoons help with homework, lead arts and craft activities and play games!
When: Flexible Schedule M-F
It takes a community to make things happen! This student led group of on-call Teen Volunteers supports events at the Y and in the community. Projects range from food drives, community events and everything in-between!
When: Mondays, 6 – 7pm& Events

Help other teens and community members on their healthy journeys as a Teen Fitness Specialist. Volunteer to help people work out safely, learn about coaching, and correct workout techniques to encourage our community to live a healthy, active life! Please contact us to sign up.

Fall and Spring Trainings
We welcome middle and high school students to come learn coding with friends. Monthly, older participants also host Scratch events for elementary school kids to help spread technological literacy. Please contact us for more details before attending an event at.

 Mountains Outdoor Leadership  EyeCreative & Visual Arts
This group focuses on getting themselves and others outside! They are breaking down barriers to the outdoors by creating a “gear bank,” planning trips for others, honing their own backcountry leadership skills and learning to be good stewards of the places we go. Join us as we climb, hike, and snowshoe around Washington!
When: Tuesday, 5 – 6pm
A group of dedicated teens working to change the world and be changed through art! In our first semester we worked to address teen mental health, this spring we’re working to connect Sammamish teens to the art scene in Seattle. Join us as we explore art in our area!When: Mondays, 5 – 6pm

Teen Leadership Board:

A group of active and passionate leaders dedicated to expanding service in our community. In this program, you will take an in depth look at your leadership strength & weaknesses, refine your personal leadership style and reflect on service in our community. TLB Certificate program participants help lead other Y Teen Programs. We considering application in the summer for following school year.

Youth And Government:

Students explore the meaning of civics and democracy by assuming the roles of various elected officials. Develop critical thinking, debate skills and a deeper understanding of the legislative process. They meet weekly during the school year and then compete in a competition at the state capital in spring.

Cost: $435 (Covers end of year trip to Olympia. Financial Assistance is available).
