Annual Fund: Caiden’s story

Caiden was 10 years old when he first attended Camp Terry –it would be the first of many camp summers.

“Caiden is on the Autism spectrum, so social activities can be challenging,” says Chris, Caiden’s dad. “We were looking for a program that would allow him the freedom to be loud and crazy – all scenarios available for him at Camp Terry.”

“The counselors went out of their way to work with him. Caiden would have successful days every day at camp – and couldn’t wait to go back,” Chris says.

Camp Terry, owned by the YMCA since 1936, is a beautiful 10-acre day camp on the banks of the Raging River in Preston, Washington.
